From time to time i enjoy making the unusual and different shaped vessels. With these below i put 1 or 2 drops of essential oil in them to fragrance the room, or they can take the odd bud or two.They still amaze people on how they are made all on the lathe and can be a great talking point .
		This Vase is made ASH and finished with PADAUK DISCS and cork in the end. This vase has had two drops of essential oil dropped into it and can be used as a air freshener or to keep dried cuttings in. Its unusual shape is created using special chucking and patience. You wont find many pieces like this as it is hard to achieve a good result. A great talking piece as it is totally made on the lathe. When turning this piece almost half of it becomes invisible so only the brave even attempt it. It stands approx 130mm in height VASE-016 £22.00
		This Vase is made Wenge and finished with Linseed oil. Dry to the touch and a beech cork in the end. This vase has had two drops of essential oil dropped into it and can be used as a air freshener or to keep dried cuttings in. Its unusual shape is created using special chucks on the lathe called eccentric and you wont find many pieces like this as it is hard to achieve a good result. When turning this piece almost half of it becomes invisible so only the brave even attempt it. It stands approx 180mm in height VASE-015 £22.00
