The most important thing to remember is to feed your wooden item with a good quality Polish preferably a soft polish containing bees wax Although you can use a standard spray, this doesn't clean the wood or feed it, it just locks in the dirt and grim that is always present in the air. My wax that I make has been made in my family for generations and after last years sales I have again made some more. All the ingredients in it are totally natural and it will maintain the wood that you put it on. Only a small amount is needed and it needs to be applied in small circular motions and then buffed off. Over a period of time your item will get a deeper shine.
